"back then, before flight simulators and video games, all we needed to do to fly was spread
our hands out wide, close our eyes and run around the house imagining we were in a plane
gliding high above"
The X-chopper is a project i worked on with lnon Rettig and Arthur Bruter as part of a course called t-experience. We tried to make the controls of a toy helicopter more intuitive by attaching them to the hand of the "pilot", referring to the way children use to imagine they could fly by spreading their hands to the sides and running around like a plane. raising the hands will make the helicopter go up. moving the hand from side to side will make the helicopter move left and right.
